It feels awfully strange to have Thursday roll around without writing a new Star Words entry! In case you're feeling the same about not having a new one to read, I figured I would pop in and point toward some of my other Star Wars-related work.
First off, if you didn't already know, I've been crossposting these entries on both
Livejournal and
Dreamwidth. The list of tags is a little easier to spot for the Dreamwidth account, right there in the left sidebar.
I have written many, many essays about the films, too many to link to, but if you follow the "star wars" tag back before March of 2017, you should be able to find them pretty easily. Yes, I've spent nearly two years on my Star Words series. Whew.
There is also heaps of fan fic, which can be found under the fan fiction tag. It's mostly Star Wars, but there are a few Harry Potter ones thrown in there. Also, I've posted a few more recent fics
here.
Then there are my
videos. At that link you can find my semi-serious piano solos, and my completely absurd one-woman renditions of the saga.
Here is a playlist of the fan videos I've edited, unlisted because the crummy quality is kind of embarrassing. (The only way I could figure out how to get the footage was by pointing my camera at the screen as the movies played. "Ripping" the footage sounds terribly ominous and illegal....)
Also, here is
Les Starwarbles, a rendition of all six films set to the music of Les Miserables. (which is unlisted because I was a little paranoid about sharing my shaky vocals with the world. After One-Woman Star Wars, though, I wonder if I might as well make it public. Partly because it's clear I have no shame after all, and partly because I've realized that slightly less than the entire world is likely to visit my tiny little channel). Anyway, if it can provide amusement for even one more person, hooray for that!
Last of all, I have a more official
blog I've set up as an aspiring writer. The topics are largely a broader exploration of the sci-fi and fantasy genres, as well as my own work, but Star Wars does show up from time to time.
And that's more than enough self-promotion for now. Thank you all for reading, commenting, and sharing your love of the saga!
