matrilA few more for Episode III. Thus far it's all been from the ending, because that's where all the most intense emotional stuff shows up. But here's a few near the beginning...plus one more at the end. Yeah, I like the drama.
I went back on forth on which tune to use for Padmé telling Anakin she's pregnant. I liked the idea of using Eponine's Errand like I did for Leia freeing Han from the carbonite, because then the two reunion scenes could mirror each other. But I also thought using Fantine's Death yet again would be meaningful, because that tune shows up a lot with important Anakin/Padmé stuff...and yeah, I was really overthinking this. I ended up using both, one for the reunion and one for the nightmare.

Our baby is a blessing

And then, sob, I went ahead and used Fantine's Death yet again for Padmé's last encounter with Anakin/Vader, leading right into Confrontation just like it does in the original musical.

And after this I'm going to use different songs than On My Own/Fantine's Death because it's getting to be just a little bit much. Except two more places, but otherwise, new songs, I promise. :P
