Ah, vacation...

...which means spending a few days at my parents' house in Pennsylvania, which is lovely. But my chidren do not understand the concept of sleeping in, so...not as relaxing as I'd like, especially since this house is not entirely Luke-proof.

Still, I'm having a nice time; I enjoyed Thanksgiving and I'm happily aware of the abundance of good things in my life. I hope you are all having a happy weekend too. :)

A bit late in answering but yes, we did have a good weekend and I'm glad you did too. And I totally hear you on the "too young to sleep in" thing. In a perverse way I'm kind of looking forward to Daniel's being a teenager. Sure, he may be hormonal and surly and much less pleased if I kiss him on the nose instead of requesting it the way he does now, but at least I'll be able to count on sleeping past 6 AM :).
