I absolutely revel in the cheesy dialogue of the Star Wars movies - really, I prefer it to the glib, too-perfect zingers that they have characters exchanging in so many scripts - but I still laughed good and long at this: http://www.ericdsnider.com/snide/how-to-hold-your-queen/

Just the idea of Padmé being so very literal about her line is very amusing to me.

Ooh, very funny (though I admit that the part that really cracked me up was his early reference to Vin Diesel doing uncharacteristic things like walking upright). All it needed was Padme making an awash-in-pregnancy-hormones accusation that "You never really loved me! Otherwise you'd remember!"

Yes, I also enjoyed the Vin Diesel jibes. ;) That's how a lot of his humor works - taking reality and exaggerating it so much it's ridiculous - and yet there's still that little grain of truth in it.
