Hm. . . I could probably say a bunch on this, but I'd have to take time to gather my thoughts and by then I'd have forgotten to reply. Perhaps part of the problem is that motherhood has a low bar for "entry-level" positions. (You don't need much more than a working reproductive system and some sperm to conceive a child). Most other occupations require some more impressive credentials. Now, granted, there are individual's in my husband's family that certifiably PROVE that that's not enough to be remotely good at the task. But, nonetheless, they exist and embarrass us all.
