Emma answered this questionnaire in her Primary class and gave it me afterwards:

All About My Mom

How old is you mom? 10

What is your mom's favorite color? Red

What is your most favorite meal that your mom cooks? Sandwiches

What do you like to do with your mom? Dance

What is your mom's favorite thing to do? Play the piano

What color of eyes does your mom have? Different colors

What's your favorite thing about your mom? She plays with me!

My heart is warm and mushy. :D She got my favorite color right, probably because it's the one I always use when we play Candyland. And I'm so, so glad she said "play the piano" instead of "sit and stare at the computer." My eyes aren't different colors from each other, but they are difficult to define as strictly blue or gray or green, so her answer was pretty accurate. I'm so very charmed and delighted.

Happy Mother's Day to everyone!

Well, in Emma's defense, I don't imagine that she knows how to spell computer... then again, she's pretty bright. Maybe she does.

That's so very, very, incredibly cute. You've got me grinning. Any idea why she thinks you're ten?

Oh, Emma didn't write it. She just dictated.

I can't imagine why she said I was ten. It makes me happy.

Oh for cute :). I always pick the red pieces too, though Daniel doesn't have much interest in board games as of yet! I wonder if she said you were 10 because that seemed like a reeeeaally big number - like in the Mary Poppins books, when Jane and Michael think that their father would never believe in their latest adventure, "not even if he lived to be twenty." (I remember when I was seven or so telling someone that I weighed ten pounds. It *sounded* heavy!)

Emma can kind-of sort-of count to twenty and beyond, but mostly she counts to ten. So ten is essentially the ultimate number for her. That's my theory, anyway. ;)
