Maybe I've got to be careful about comments along the line of "when something so 'arty' that even people like me can pick up on shows up"... although I'm pretty sure I've seen people bringing up one of George Lucas's first student films, named "Herbie" (which preceded "The Love Bug") as somehow similar. (On a not as deep level, anyway, I've long been somewhat intrigued by Anakin using a green lightsabre some time in this movie, wanting to see it as downplaying "the profound significance of each Jedi constructing their own lightsabre...")
