I recall having seen that anecdote about the Rebel briefing room being kept clean, if not in "The Star Wars Archives." That book does intrigue me (as does its follow-up volume covering the other half of the saga), and I suppose I could afford both of them, but I am slowed by a general leeriness about "spending too much all at once." (The book by itself might not be that much more expensive than the three "Making of" hardcovers from the thirtieth anniversaries I bought one at a time...) I am unfortunately aware of "how dare things not be grimy!" complaints, but then I can also ponder someone sniffing the lighting in Return of the Jedi, apparently not as good as the films before, was the breaking point for them. At times I want to believe it's all finding fault to distract from "visceral Ewok dislike" having become familiar to the point of strain.
