There are a lot of delightful one-liners during Luke and Han's makeshift rescue plan. I don't know how much came from the original script and how much was ad-libbed or modified, but the end result is fun regardless. There's the terse advice to the droids -- Lock the door. And hope they don't have blasters, Luke's muffled I can't see a thing in this helmet! which just might explain the stormtroopers' dreadful aim, and then his panicked reaction to Han's doubts Why didn't you say so before? replied with I did say so before! And the marvelous disdain in the officer's voice when he looks at Chewie and asks "Where are you taking this....thing?"

But the very best bit might be Han's frantic conversation over the intercom, as the officer on the other end grows more and more suspicious of his reactor leak story.

"Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here now, thank you. How are you?"

Not the greatest improviser, huh? What a glorious moment: the awkward, fumbling delivery, the pained look on Han's face, and the absolutely absurdity of finishing it up with "how are you" and a disgusted grimace. This is what happens when you don't plan out your rescue past the first two or three steps. This will take a very creative solution, courtesy of a very resourceful princess.

I highly recommended quoting this line as awkwardly as possible whenever the occasion warrants. Rather than replying to someone's "How are you?" with the usual generic reply, offer this instead. If they're a fellow fan, they'll probably be delighted. If not, well, at worst you'll probably just get a strange look.

Next time, Leia takes charge...
