Oops. I've really got to stop making these hasty generalization. True, I was thinking more of the Empire than other bad guys, but the dewbacks is a pretty obvious one to overlook. Perhaps it's more that the villains tend to dismiss races like the Ewoks and Gungans as nothing more than "primitive life" only to have that assumption lead to their defeat.
