"That Disney space movie" actually leaves me feeling sorry for The Black Hole, just as hearing rumours of plans for that movie to be remade made me feel sorry for whoever might have been involved in the project when the sale of Lucasfilm was announced... Anyway, I am conscious of how disinterested I always seem to be in the gleeful inflation of small details that only might be conflated with "shipping," and how I seem genuinely able to not insist a fictional character be paired off with somebody else "for their happiness." With that said, though, something "undeniable" can very often leave me gooey and sentimental, and so it is with Anakin and Padme... You seemed to articulate points I could easily agree with, although I am a little cautious about interpreting Padme's very last words to Anakin as setting her up to turn around and leave in the very next moment.
