It really should have been Mary Shelley who coined "It was a dark and stormy night ..." (unless she actually did and Bulwer-Lytton has been given unfair credit). For a moment there I wondered if Tori's father was a Microsoft millionaire, but if she was born in 1984, after he made his fortune, that would be a little too early. Though it would certainly be in line with the jokes I've heard about how Bill Gates is devoting his later years to philanthropy in order to atone for Microsoft Bob and Clippy :).
